This historical-cultural association and its recreation group will be participating in the Bicentenary acts.
The Royal Green Jacket is one of the most prestigious historic recreation association in Europe and will be present at the Bicentenary celebrations of the Reconquest of Vigo.

This association that was created in A Coruña has actually participated in recreations throughout the continent and are currently a world reference in "reenactment", a trend that tries to faithfully represent the most important battles in history.
Talks are underway with the Royal Green Jackets on the subject of organisation of the Bicentenary acts, in order to have a performance in Vigo, which will no doubt leave everyone speechless.

Besides creating a representation of the troops that participated in the Reconquest or in the battles of Elviña and Ponte Sampaio, there are plans to bring their canons to Vigo, these being exact replicas of the originals used by Napoleon’s army and which promise a “resounding” performance in the city centre.
