Napoleon VII, Imperial Prince
He was born in 1950, is a French politician and heads the French Imperial House as the great –great-grandson of Emperor Napoleon’s brother.
Charles went to school in Sainte-croix-des-neiges in Abondance, and travelled from 1964 to 1965, to study German in the Black Forest Region. He has a PhD in Economics from the University of La Sorbonne and has written many essays and books that include "History of Urban Transportation", "Bonaparte & Paoli" "The Bonapartes, Rebels at Heart" and "For a New Republic".
He has worked as a banker, financial planner and real estate promoter, and is presently working as lecturer for the American Institute for Foreign Policies.
In 2000, he presented his candidacy for election as Mayor of Ajaccio, which is the city of the Bonaparte, and in 2004 was finally elected as Deputy Mayor of the city.
At the beginning of 2008, he announced that he would present himself as a candidate for election as Mayor of Nemours where he is currently the leader of the political party "Ensemble Pour Les Nemouriens".
