This will be one of the fundamental themes of the anniversary celebrations. For the very first time, citizens will be able to view objects and documents that have never ever been on display in the city, such as arms that the French empire used in the battle, battledress of the several units, unpublished documents on the Reconquest of Vigo and the posterior battle of Ponte Sampaio. These are some of the objects on display at this exhibition. All exhibits have been brought from some of the most prestigious national museums, such as the Madrid Naval Museum, the National Historical Archive, the A Coruña Military Museum, and the Tui-Vigo Diocesan Museum.
Such an important exhibition will be housed within an emblematic building of the city such as the Pazo Quiñones de León Municipal Museum and will be open to the public from the 6th to the 31st of March, 2009.
